UPVC and IPS panel repairs for new build and refurbishment

UPVC is everywhere on a modern site: window and door frames, cills, fascias, soffits, trims and cladding. IPS panels (integrated plumbing systems) line the back of every commercial washroom. Both get cracked, scratched, holed and chipped by the trades that follow, and both are awkward to replace once fitted. Sinclair repairs them in place.

UPVC repairs

Cracked or holed UPVC is bonded and filled, shaped flush and refinished so the repair is lost in the surrounding surface. On foiled frames the grain is recreated. Where a frame is beyond cosmetic repair we will say so.

IPS panel and washroom repairs

IPS duct panels, WC cubicles, vanity tops and laminate wall panels in commercial and communal washrooms, in offices, schools, hotels and apartment blocks, take constant knocks from cleaning trolleys, doors and fittings. We repair chipped edges, scratched faces, cracked laminate and damaged corners, matching the laminate pattern and finish. At the Department for Education offices in London our scope for Willmott Dixon included WC cubicles, kitchens, window frames and metal ceiling grids.

Meter boxes

Cracked, smashed or faded GRP and UPVC gas and electric meter boxes are repaired and resprayed rather than replaced. See meter box repairs.

On site

UPVC and IPS repairs are booked at snagging and pre-handover, and for aftercare defects once a building is occupied. Our operatives work in finished plots and live washrooms with minimal disruption, and to the site’s induction and safety arrangements. Sinclair is CHAS accredited and Constructionline Platinum, with £10m public liability insurance.

What are IPS panels?
